A superb impression, in dark brown ink, with rich burr and selectively wiped overall platetone; on Arches cream laid paper, full margins (3/4 to 1 1/2 inches), in excellent condition. Printed by the artist. Ex-collection Kennedy Galleries, with the original gallery mat. Scarce. The image depicts the construction of a Westinghouse generator at Duquesne Light, near Pittsburgh. The generator, built for Con Edison's 14th Street - New York Station, was the most powerful ever built. Drawn on location and printed by the artist.
